May 04

TRIAD was recognized tonight as the state's top digital and interactive talent at the inaugural Ohio Interactive Awards.

TRIAD received three awards for GenerationsCVNP.org, Parkshares.org and the TRIAD interactive Holiday card. In addition to the three awards, TRIAD was also honored as Interactive Agency of the Year. The awards were presented during a recognition ceremony at the Arena Grand Theatre, in Columbus. Winners were chosen by a panel of marketing industry leaders who work with and represent some of the world's most recognizable brands and Fortune 500 companies. Entries were judged on strategy, execution and results.

"The Generations website and Bike Aboard! game serve as the online resource for information regarding the history of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park," said Lisa Martinez Western Reserve Public Media vice president, marketing and development. "TRIAD not only created a user-friendly, entertaining, and educational website and game, but also developed an online community for park-enthusiasts, educators and personnel to connect and grow support for our national park. We couldn't be happier with the results of this project and are grateful for the expertise TRIAD provided throughout the development process."

"Over the last decade, with the development of mobile devices like smartphones and the emergence of social network marketing opportunities, we saw a need to invest in new technologies and talent that we would fulfill the growing needs of our clients," said Rick Krochka, president of TRIAD Communications. "We found the talent right here in northeast Ohio, coming from our local colleges and universities. The future is bright for this industry and for our interactive team we've created here at TRIAD."

"Ohio is home to some of the best and brightest digital and interactive professionals in the world, who do incredible work for both major and emerging brands", said Bryan Huber, principal of huber + co. interactive and a founding member of the awards program.
